Insurance
Our licensed therapists accept most major insurance plans, TNCare, and employee assistance programs (EAPs), with competitive private pay rates. Pre-licensed therapists may accept some insurance and offer a reduced rate while working toward licensure. More details about our therapists can be found on the Our Staff and Appointments pages.
Health Insurance: Most plans cover mental health counseling with similar out-of-pocket costs as a Primary Care visit. Insurance requires a diagnosis from the therapist to cover services, just like a doctor’s visit. Check your insurance card for copay details. If your card lists a separate number for mental health services, be aware it may be a different provider.
Employee Assistance Programs (EAP): Some employers offer free therapy sessions through EAPs. Contact your HR department to confirm eligibility and network providers. EAP authorization is required before your first session.
Rates/Fees
Private Pay Rates: Private pay means paying out-of-pocket instead of using insurance. Contact us for the self-pay rate for your therapist. The average counseling cost in Jackson, TN is $149, but we strive to keep our rates affordable.
Payment Methods: We accept cash, checks, most major credit/debit cards, and online payments.
Current Rates:
- Counseling: $125 per session
- Medication Management: $170 per session (two billing codes)
You are responsible for any copays, deductibles, or charges not covered by insurance, including claim denials.
