Our Story

LifeWorks Resources was founded by Mark Baldwin in 2016 with a clear vision: to build a Christian counseling practice that integrates faith, professionalism, and compassion in the heart of West Tennessee. What began as a solo effort quickly gained traction. Mark’s first hire was an administrative assistant to support growing demand, and by 2018, LifeWorks officially became an LLC.

Since then, the practice has steadily expanded by adding licensed therapists, graduate interns, and associate counselors pursuing licensure. In 2022, the team added medication management services and moved into a larger office space to better serve the growing client base. LifeWorks now offers a wide range of counseling services for individuals, couples, families, and teens, all rooted in a Christ-centered perspective.

At the core of LifeWorks is a belief that healing is not just clinical—it’s spiritual. Guided by a Biblical worldview, the team combines evidence-based counseling practices with the wisdom of Scripture to help clients find clarity, freedom, and peace.

I was wanting to get him counseling that wouldn’t try to automatically throw medication at him and also direct him to God to help him through what he goes through. I googled Christian counseling and lifeworks Resources popped up. I got on the website and looked at the counselors and I felt like Greg Perry was the best fit for him. The appointment was super easy to make and we got started 2 days later. Literally from the first day he is a different kid. He went in one kid and came out another. We all have emotions and sometimes we just gotta figure out the right way to deal with them. If you feel like your child is constantly angry, disrespectful, defiant, depressed. Chances are there is something behind that that they’re dealing with that they don’t feel comfortable talking to you or anyone around them about. I’ve tried one other place for counseling for him and I didn’t feel any difference at all. At lifeworks, I feel like they genuinely want to help. We are on our I think 3rd visit and I’m forever grateful so far for the results. 10/10 recommend. Get you a counselor that prays and believes God for you and your family’s growth and healing. 🤍

We work with adults, couples, teens, and kids and provide individual and family counseling. This is a great opportunity to join a growing practice. We are open to both full-time counseling jobs and part-time counseling jobs.
