Mark’s 10+ years of accreditation experience includes serving as Director of Programs for a Council on Accreditation (COA) accredited facility. His background, including being a COA Peer Reviewer, gives him an intimate knowledge, as a COA Accreditation Consultant, of the accreditation process from start to finish, including:
1. How to prepare for the self-study,
2. How to develop the self-study,
3. Preparing for the site visit,
4. Conducting the actual site visit including what Peer Reviewers look for, and
5. Post site visit process.

Mark is a highly qualified COA Accreditation Consultant prepared to team with client organizations to achieve accredited status for the first time, and to assist already accredited organizations through successful re-accreditation. He is experienced in strategic planning, policy and procedure development and implementation, Board development, and CQI processes. Mark is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Tennessee Council on Children’s’ Mental Health. Mark earned a B.A.S in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, a M.S. in Counseling from Freed-Hardeman University, and an Ed.D. (ABD) from the University of Memphis.
